PORTFOLIO > Original Drawings and Commissioned Works

This original pen and ink drawing was commissioned by the Erie Community Foundation of Erie, PA. My last original work of 2014, this drawing captures in pen and ink one of the many beautiful mansions constructed on Erie's Millionaires Row. The Julius Siegel Mansion carriage house was constructed in the Beaux-Arts Classical Style, being one of 13 carriage houses in the district. Brick, stone, plaster and wood, as well as its many classical details, made this not only a challenging project, but also a most enjoyable one. Today the building is home to the Erie Community Foundation.
