Nestled in the woods in western Pennsylvania, this drawing represents not just a house, but a home that played host to many a family gathering. Surrounded by verdant woodlands, adjacent to a secluded lake, the structure originally was a small cottage that the owners expanded over many years. A meeting place that held countless family memories, the drawing now reminds the owners of cherished times from years long past. Although the trees and building were most challenging, it remains one of my favorite drawings.
