This drawing is one of a series of drawings of Cathedral Preparatory School in Erie, PA . This depicts one of the doors at the front of the Prep Auditorium. Due to recent renovations to the auditorium, the doors themselves were replaced with a more generic style, but the ornate carvings above them still remain. The Latin inscription "Pro Deo et Patria" translates as "For God and Country".
