Another of Erie's architectural treasures, this drawing of the The Strong Mansion, otherwise known as Gannon University's Administration Building, was commissioned by the university in 1988. It shows a three-quarter view of the three archways found on the West Sixth Street entrance. As well as purchasing the original drawing, the school also ordered a number of limited edition prints that were given to prominent supporters and benefactors. The beautifully crafted stonework and carvings are balanced by the rhododendrons that occupy the foreground of the composition.
