Perhaps the second most popular drawing in the Mercyhurst series, this drawing depicts the famous wrought iron gates that mark the main entrance on East 38th Street in Erie, PA. Created as part of a commissioned series for a Mercyhurst Capital Campaign, the drawing remains a popular choice among the college's alumni. Although the University campus has undergone major changes throughout the years, the "Gates" remain a constant reminder of the vision of the Sisters Of Mercy and the gift of education that they brought to our city.
